Kids Loving Nature... It is as simple as that. This site is all about Kids Loving Nature. You'll find information about teaching our children how to make a connection with and therefore fall in love with the Earth. You'll see articles about getting kids outside, nature education programs, ideas for helping kids get excited about playing outside and hopefully you'll be inspired to help the next generation fall in love with Mother Earth.

Why? I belive that the only way we can save the environment is to get the next generation on board with a major adjustment of how we, as a society, think about nature. If the next generation doesn't absolutely love the forests, rivers, and animals they will destroy them just like the previous generations.

This site is operated by Andy Hawbaker who is a father of two daughters. He lives in Northern Colorado where he and his wife raise their children at the base of the Rocky Mountains. As a family they hike, snowshoe, camp, splash in rivers, and dig in the mud.

Andy uses his passion for the Earth to help his local city government protect open space, volunteers at his daughter's Nature and Science School, and sells natural and sustainable items through his family's online retail store, Hip Mountain Mama.
